Retention systems for wastewater, cooling water and stormwater
With
a well-designed and solidly built retention system, you can prevent water pollutants from escaping from
your plant into surface water. A computer-controlled monitoring system, which continuously samples the
water using state-of-the-art instruments and analyzers, immediately detects any violations of the threshold
parameters. The process-control system then automatically diverts the contaminated wastewater into the
designated storage tanks.
Europe’s largest water-retention reservoir was built to hold
cooling water and stormwater in Industriepark Höchst, where it enjoys a long, successful track record.
