In good hands! Sika AG uses the New Logistics Center at Industriepark Höchst as a main distribution center for supplying industrial adhesives and sealants to all of its European customers. The company is a global manufacturer of specialty chemicals with headquarters in Baar, Switzerland and subsidiaries in more than 70 countries.

Sika was looking for an experienced logistics provider familiar with storing and shipping chemical and pharmaceutical products in order to supply its customers just in time with products by the container load or picked to individual boxes as needed.

At the end of a bidding process that included European competitors, the company decided to go with Infraserv Logistics at Industriepark Höchst: centrally located in the Rhine-Main region in Europe's heartland, and perfectly interconnected by road, air, rail and water. Only one year old, our fully automated high-bay warehouse is certified to good-distribution-practice standards, meets the most stringent safety standards and offers maximum handling capacity for Sika products.

Virtually every type of chemical product can be stored here in conformity with the storage guideline issued by the German Chemical-Industry Association (VCI). With approximately 70,000 pallet positions, the New Logistics Center in Industriepark Höchst is the largest storage facility for chemical products in the State of Hesse – and that includes 12,000 pallet positions that are reserved for Sika.
