Infraserv Höchst takes over site operations from Clariant in Griesheim

Infrasite Griesheim, a wholly owned subsidiary of Infrasite Beteiligungs GmbH, took over the operation of Clariant's Griesheim site on September 1, 2009. It is now responsible for all site services in Griesheim.

They include:

Waste management
Emergency management
Compressed-air, nitrogen, and water supply
Electric power and gas supply
Wastewater treatment
Construction
Employee support services
Telephony and IT networks
On-site medical services
Hazard management

Around 60 people work in these fields. The site manager and Managing Director of Infrasite Griesheim GmbH is Rainer Gutweiler, who used to run the Heat/Electricity/Pipeline Networks section in Infraserv Höchst's Energy & Utilities business unit. Infrasite Beteiligungs GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Infraserv Höchst and it handles all of Infraserv's external-site-operation services.

Industriepark Griesheim is home to 32 companies that employ around 900 people. Its main tenants include WeylChem, AllessaChemie, SGL Carbon and Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services. The park covers 60 hectares, including roughly 3 hectares of vacant land.

Infrasite Griesheim GmbH was established on July 13, 2009.
