Ready for boarding! Thanks to our cutting-edge expertise in construction supervision, fire protection and waste disposal, we made a three-point landing with Fraport AG, the operator of Frankfurt Airport.

Europe's second-largest aviation hub had a laundry list of important tasks - from improving fire protection for the counter areas and supervising the construction of the new Nike airport store to fully maintaining the electroacoustical systems and disposing of sewage sludge through to monitoring and evaluating ambient-air-quality monitors. In the process, all the individual measures had to be carefully coordinated on the various levels and in the areas next to Terminal 1. A crucial requirement: Nothing should slow down day-to-day operations!

The bottom line

The construction measures were finished to specifications within the extremely tight schedule. By coming to us, Fraport had obviously found the right partner, with comprehensive expertise in fire protection, facility management, immission control and waste disposal.

Our team successfully tackled one particularly daunting challenge: performing all the work during ongoing operations. We planned and rebuilt the Nike store within the short construction period. By the way, this was the only store in the new Skyline Arcade that was finished on schedule. We ensured the appropriate level of functionality and liability for the various areas.
